Pawan Bareja, PhD, is a mindfulness teacher and trauma practitioner who brings together Buddhist meditation, neuroscience and somatic psychology. With over two decades of experience, she has guided thousands of students and clients in reconnecting with a sense of inner stability, compassion, and presence.
Her teaching is warm, grounded, and practical, making deep inner work accessible to both beginners and experienced practitioners. Pawan’s work is rooted in the belief that healing is not about fixing ourselves, but about learning how to be with our experience in a new, more compassionate way.

A New Approach to Inner Healing
Pawan’s method is a trauma-informed approach that integrates mindfulness, body awareness, and emotional processing. Rather than trying to eliminate pain, it helps you build the capacity to safely feel, regulate, and integrate your inner experience, creating a foundation of stability and self-compassion.
Blending meditation with insights from neuroscience and somatic psychology, his approach supports a shift from survival patterns into clarity, resilience, and inner freedom. These principles are explored in her book, Reignite Your Power: Resolving Trauma Through Mindfulness, where he offers a practical path to healing through presence, awareness, and embodied practice.
